For some reason, this Trayvon Martin thing has really gotten me thinking about Emmitt Till. Maybe he’s the Emmitt Till of a new generation. The loss that will make us angry enough to change the world. God bless the family and Trayvon, I hope you’ve found peace beyond this crazy world we’re living in. You are one fallen soldier of so many that don’t even make it to the news. The systematic killing and imprisonment of young black boys being passed off as “racial profiling” is genocide by another name. Let’s end this. Let’s give young black boys something to Live for instead of something to die for.
